ART. STORIES. A LIFE EXAMINED.
I paint, photograph, write, travel, and follow my curiosity in search of one question: What makes a life meaningful?

WHAT MAKES A LIFE MEANINGFUL?
I’ve spent much of my life curious about people—what shapes us, what connects us, what we carry, and what makes us feel truly alive.
Now I’m taking that curiosity into the field.
Through painting, photography, writing, travel, and conversation, I collect stories of ordinary people and ordinary moments that reveal something bigger about how we live.
This is an ongoing exploration of the beauty between the moments.

BAJA CALIFORNIA SUR · MEXICO
THE WOMAN IN THE TENT SHOP
I stopped for the charming roadside shop. I left feeling inspired by her beauty.
What began as a roadside stop became a portrait, a conversation, and a story I almost passed by.

THE ROAD SOUTH
Somewhere between where we came from and where we were going, we started to realize the journey itself was becoming the story.

There is a distinct difference between being a visitor in a new place and settling in to stay awhile.

The Lips Don’t Lie Series
The lips brim with expression—playfulness, passion, deception, truth, and everything a person chooses to reveal or conceal—the gatekeeper of voice. Ink & Oil on Canvas.
Portrait & Figurative Series
I respect the beauty of a woman who stands in her own power. I love using color, movement, texture, and composition to show resiliency, movement, stillness, independence, and self-assurance.
Mixed media and oil and canvas.
Mexico Series
Resilience, freedom, and authenticity are three words that come to mind when I daydream of Mexico. Discover Mexico through my eyes…and brush. Oil on Canvas.
Boop the Nose Series
Fun, playfulness, and joy all wrapped into a tiny, adorable package! Need I say more? Oil on Canvas
SPring Critter Series
Sweet, cuddly, resting animals. I love seeing animals that are normally on the move, either chasing or escaping, finally at rest. I also enjoy seeing humans at rest because I believe we do too much as a society, and it is time we celebrate rest and rejuvenation as much as we praise hustling.
This is where I started experimenting with mixed media (again). I hated it at first when I played with inks, acrylics, markers, and collage. I decided I wanted to have versatility in my work, so I gave it a second chance. Although I still don’t like acrylics, I do LOVE inks, spray paint, and mark making. I discovered I can create some dynamic layers far more quickly with mixed media.
The Year of the Horse Series
Independence, energy, and power. The year of the horse is all about motion! After shedding old identities last year with the snake, 2026 is the rebirth! Oil on Canvas
